Paris Hilton is partnering with rapper Bhad Bhabie over supposed teen camps. Bhad Bhabie, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, allegedly was exposed to mistreatment at Utah’s Turn-About Ranch in 2016 after appearing on Dr. Phil.

In a testimonial describing the camps as child abuse, Bregoli claimed she suffered from sleep deprivation, malnutrition, and unsanitary conditions. According to Bregoli, she was not the only victimized teen at the camp. A teenage girl filed a lawsuit against the staff for sexual assault.

Turn-About Ranch is designed to help troubled kids through therapy, academics, and hard work. The facility is located on a cattle ranch that focuses on leadership, teamwork, accountability, and responsibility through “real world” exposure. The ranch states their work is recommended by doctors and therapists, in which they have helped thousands.

Hilton and Bregoli are advocating and spreading awareness of Breaking Code Silence, an association that supports victims of abuse at facilities like the Turn-About Ranch. Hilton testified for a now passed Utah state bill that bans abuse and mistreatment at youth facilities. Strategies to eliminate and work around the mistreatment of teens are still in the works.

Hilton and Bregoli are working to stop Dr. Phil’s efforts in sending teenagers to the Turn-About-Ranch.

“People look up to Dr. Phil and I want to make sure the show is accurately portraying these residential facilities to desperate families and not continuing to spread the false narrative that these places heal kids,” Bregoli said.

On Ashleigh Banfield’s show, Dr. Phil commented on the issue that Bregoli should take up her abuse allegations with the law.
