Sarah S Oldham

Sarah Stark Oldham — known professionally as "Sally" — is a partner at Rutkin Oldham Contratto LLC, a boutique family and matrimonial law firm in Westport, Connecticut. She represents clients in the negotiation and litigation of complex, high-asset family law matters, including divorce, alimony, child support, and property division, and frequently analyzes closely held businesses, executive compensation, and other complex financial holdings to address the division of assets and income. She also handles contested child custody and relocation disputes. Oldham was admitted to the Connecticut bar in 1988 and to the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, in 1989. She earned her J.D. cum laude from the University of Connecticut School of Law (1988), where she served on the Connecticut Law Review, holds an M.S. in School Psychology from Southern Connecticut State College (1974), and a B.S. cum laude from Wesleyan University (1972). Before law, she practiced for over a decade as a psychologist in private practice and Connecticut schools. She partnered with Arnold Rutkin in 1994.
