Lisa Lanier

Lisa Lanier is the founder, President, and CEO of Lanier Law Group, P.A., a plaintiff-side personal injury firm serving clients throughout North Carolina from multiple office locations across the state. A North Carolina native born in High Point, she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1989) and her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law (1992). She was admitted to practice in 1992 and began her career as an insurance defense attorney at a large firm in the Triangle, gaining insight into how insurers evaluate claims. She launched her own practice in the mid-1990s, concentrating on representing injured individuals and their families. Her work spans catastrophic injury, medical malpractice, car and truck accidents, workers' compensation, Social Security disability, and wrongful death. She is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, and the NC Association of Women Attorneys, and has held an officer role with the latter.
