John W. Molony

John W. Molony, Esq., is a criminal defense and DUI attorney in Charleston, South Carolina, and the owner and sole managing member of John W. Molony Law Firm, LLC, where he personally handles every case. His practice focuses on defending clients charged with DUI, drug offenses, domestic violence, disorderly conduct, theft, traffic violations, and other criminal matters throughout South Carolina. A Charleston native, Molony graduated from Porter-Gaud School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Clemson University, including study abroad at the Université Catholique de l'Ouest in Angers, France. He received his Juris Doctor from Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law, where he was a member of Phi Delta Phi. Molony is admitted to practice in all South Carolina state courts and before the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, and holds NHTSA certification in DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing.
