William Hulsey

William N. Hulsey III ("Bill Hulsey") is the founder of HULSEY PC, a patent and trademark boutique law firm headquartered in Austin, Texas, with additional offices across the Southern and South-Central United States. He focuses his practice on patent and trademark prosecution, intellectual property counseling, and technology licensing, serving inventors, startups, manufacturers, and technology entrepreneurs. Before practicing law, he served as a nuclear-engineering-trained U.S. Navy submarine officer, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander. He earned a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was Senior Managing Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review and graduated Order of the Coif; a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Virginia; and a B.S. in Mathematics (with Distinction) from Rhodes College. Mr. Hulsey is licensed in Texas and Tennessee and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. He is also admitted before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. Court of International Trade, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of Texas. He is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
