Haute Spots Boston: The Gronk Gala

Even though football season is officially over, you can still enjoy some face time with your favorite New England Patriots this spring. Tight End Rob Gronkowski will be trading his football in for a black-tie ball for one night only (April 14) at a blingworthy gala being held in his honor. Gronkowski announced this week that he and his family will be hosting the black-tie Gronk Gala on Thursday, April 14, at the Mercedes-Benz of Burlington.

Gronk (as he is known locally in Patriots Nation), his four brothers (Gordie, Dan, Chris and Glenn), and father “Papa Gronk” will be on hand along with local celebrities and athletes for the evening where you can enjoy food tastings from local area Burlington restaurants, an open bar and live entertainment along with exclusive auction items with proceeds all to benefit the Gronk Nation Youth Foundation.

The Gronk Nation Youth Foundation, which supports local sports programs throughout Massachusetts, was formed by Rob and his family to inspire young adults to reach their maximum potential through sports, education, and fitness. Throughout its inception, they have contributed financial resources and made special guest appearances to schools and sports programs to keep kids active. The foundation was based on the principles, “Get Hyped. Light Weights. Play Football on Sundays. Give Back to the Community,” which have become a way of life for the Gronkowski family.
