Brian Grazer was the recipient of the Abe Burrows Award during “A Night at Sardi’s” annual gala, an evening which raised over $1.1 million for the Alzheimer’s Association.
Longtime friend Ron Howard presented the Oscar-winning producer with his award before he gave an emotional speech about his mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s onstage at The Beverly Hilton hotel.
But despite the seriousness of the cause, the evening was all fun and games, as a slew of TV’s finest took to the stage to perform Broadway hits.
The standout was a hilarious number from the cast of The Big Bang Theory. Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik dressed up in Rocky Horror Picture Show attire to perform “The Time Warp.”
Emmy Rossum, Jason Alexander, Jennifer Coolidge, Christine Ebersol, Linda Hart and Zachary Levi also performed.
Jill Gascoine, British actress and advocate, received the Sargent and Eunice Shriver Profiles in Dignity Award; Golden Globe winner Jason Bateman hosted the Wednesday evening event.
