Ever wonder what the most powerful leaders, business execs and celebrities keep on their desks? Well, we’re about to tell you. Our biweekly “What’s on My Desk” feature will take a look inside the offices and at the desks of the world’s most influential power players.
This week we’ve featured John Terzian, the founder and principal of the h.wood.group, a Los Angeles-based lifestyle company which includes real estate development, luxury lifestyle products and upscale nightlife divisions. The group’s nightclub portfolio includes recently opened ventures Bootsy Bellows and SHOREbar, as well as previous Hollywood hotspots Las Palmas, h.wood and The Tea Room. Terzian has elevated the h.wood.group’s portfolio into a class of it’s own, redefining nightlife with a strong sense of expertise and a thriving collection of nightlife destinations. Up next for Terzian is a completely remodeled concept lounge at the former Beverly spot this spring. His inspiration comes from Maxim’s in Paris- think lots of black, white and gold. He will be also be producing the Bill Clinton and Kobe Bryant charity gala on January 14th for the opening of Step Up On Vine. Here are the items on John’s desk:
- A stack of magazine tears of interiors and furniture for inspiration for two upcoming venues him and group are doing
- Sketch book for interior(s) and name options/ thoughts
- Notepad filled with checklist for the week
- An antique sterling candelabra from his grandma that always sits on top of 3 favorite art books.
