Ricardo Laguna hosted a fiesta at Tao Beach at the Venetian on Saturday. The BMX pro and star of “The Ricardo Laguna Project” donned a sombrero for the festivities as he took over a cabana at the pool party. He danced with his mom to the sounds of the mariachi band that was roaming Tao Beach and even joined them for a stop in the deejay booth. The afternoon was made complete with a game of Twister and pitchers of mojitos.
Saturday night at Lavo at the Palazzo featured another installment of Stereo Saturdays with special guest Kid Ink, on hand to celebrate the success of his debut album “Up in the Air.” Currently the No. 1 hip hop album in the country, the rapper had plenty of reason to celebrate, dining at Lavo Restaurant before heading up to the club with a large group of friends. It wasn’t long before he jumped in the booth to join DJ Reflex, surprising the crowd with a performance of his hit “Time of Your Life” and new single “Drippin,” which has been quickly making its way to the top of the charts this week. The crowd cheered in excitement with hands in the air throughout his performance, with Kid beaming as Reflex made sure to shout out the newcomer’s impressive album success.
At Marquee Nightclub at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Clay Matthews, linebacker for the Green Bay Packers, helped his brother celebrate his bachelor party with friends and other NFL players. Fellow Packers linebacker Robert Francois was at the next table over and Owen Daniels of the Houston Texans was nearby, all taking in the sounds of Cosmic Gate in the main room.
