Where to Splurge on Miami’s Best Dishes for National Caviar Day

It’s National Caviar Day and that means it’s time to splurge on some of Miami’s most opulent caviar dishes and pair them with some bubbly to celebrate in style. Here’s where you can find our favorite dishes in the Magic City:

WHAT: POWER HOUR Caviar Russe

Want to splurge on some of the best caviar for half the price? Head to the Caviar Russe at the Four Seasons in Brickell from 4-7 PM for their Power Hour. The luxe restaurant offers a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and Osetra for $135 or Half a bottle of Billecart Salmon and Oestra for $110. If you’re looking for more food, they offer gourmet “power bites” for $12 each that you can add some Oestra for $70/1.75oz.

Miami’s iconic restaurant fittingly has an elaborate caviar tasting dish to choose from and celebrate the holiday with as you wine and dine in the legendary destination. Their version of the caviar dish consists of Caviar Black Currant Vodka Glee, Creme Fraiche, Onion, Egg, Warm Blinis and California White Sturgeon for $105. To up your platter, opt for the Russian Oscietra for $150.

To dine on rich caviar dishes with a view, head to riverfront dining destination, Seaspice, and celebrate with their Hokkaido Scallop Tartare. The fresh, light dish is topped with Oscietra caviar to add a savory kick to each bite.

The Wynwood restaurant’s signature dish is about as rich and tasty as one can find—the creamy Soft Egg concoction is made up of sea scallop espuma, truffle pearls and caviar, served with a delicious side of bread to dip into the warm dish. Part of the $165/person tasting menu for the full chef’s experience, this dish is a must-try and the perfect option to celebrate the opulent holiday with.

A hearty platter of fresh otoro with grated wasabi, truffle paste, ikura, a hearty portion of caviar, edible gold flakes and freshly black truffles? Sign us up! While it’s technically off the menu, those who are in the know can order it at any given time as long as the kitchen has the appropriate ingredients. This luxe $65 plate created by the talented Chef Bee is worth every penny, and is the best way to enjoy the day to celebrate caviar at its finest—besides, it doesn’t get much better than truffle AND caviar, does it?

WHAT: CAVIAR CONES & OYSTERS WITH CAVIAR

If you’re looking for high-quality caviar to enhance your rich dish, then Chef José Andrés hot spot, The Bazaar by José Andrés at the SLS South Beach is your go-to. In the chef’s signature style, each plate is decadently presented using top-tier ingredients, and the cuisine lives up to its appearance. While it certainly will cost you, we promise it’s worth it. The Caviar Cones are a signature Bazaar dish, and the perfect way to start your night off. Cleanse your palate with their fresh Kumamoto Oysters topped with Oscietra Caviar afterward, and sip on some bubbly to complete the experience.
