Haute Champagne: Growers to Make Your Life Rosé
One of my most cherished memories was buying a bottle of Laurent-Perrier Rosé Champagne from a pastry store off the Champs-Elysées and drinking it, sans flute, underneath La Tour Eiffel as it twinkled. Something about the delicate bubbles and aromatic richness of Pinot Noir made it one of those wine memories that you will never forget. I was hooked on Rosé Champagne and have gone out of my way to make it an indulgence that I can’t live without.

Haute Membership: The San Diego Yacht Club
What exactly does one have to do, besides own a yacht, to become a member of The San Diego Yacht Club, or the SDYC as it's called?
First off, know your history. According to facts, this club dates back to 1886, when a group of boating enthusiasts joined together and formed one of the very first, and still one of the uppermost cornerstones, in Americal yachting history. Back then, they didn't have one designated spot for meeting and they bounced around locations until 1924 where they settled in the Point Loma location they still use today. Since then, it's grown from a group of die-hard boaters, to an highly organized business based on a dedication to teaching and living by the Corinithian principles of yachting, as stated by their website.

Haute Book Review: Let the Great World Spin by Colum McCann
One of my favorite hobbies is reading novels. While this isn’t the most original statement, many people don’t feel this way and would rather spend their time reading a magazine or Twitter. As far as book recommendations go, I am open to suggestions and take pleasure in reading what others have previously enjoyed. An old college professor once suggested that I read, Let the Great World Spin by Clum McCann, and described it in a way I’ll never forget. He said, “Reading this book was like hearing Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Born to Run’ for the very first time.” After considering this boldly stated metaphor, I knew I had to read it.
