If you’re in the mood for some late night Indian food, you’re in luck. Urban Masala, just soft opened last Friday and will be officially opened on December 30. The modern café serves traditional Indian dishes such as main entrees like masala, curry, saag paneer, dal, and chicken tikka served with fresh naan including similar fillings. There are two choices of salads, tofu tikka and chicken tikka.

Orson Welles’ Citizen Kane Oscar Sold For $861K
Yesterday in Los Angeles, the 1940’s actor, Orson Welles’ Oscar was auctioned off for more than $861,000. The “Citizen Kane” star won the Academy Award for the original screenplay. Ironically, for decades the statue has been thought to be lost until a cinematographer Gary Graver attempted to sell it back in 1994.

On Thursday, December 1, 2011, Joy Bianchi Co-hosted a most fabulous charity event at famed jewelry store, Alexis Bittar. The holiday event benefitted Bianchi's charity, Helpers, for those who are developmentally disabled. Cute, cuddly, handmade couture stuffed mice were available for purchase. In addition, from December 1 through December 4, Alexis Bittar donated 25% of sales of his eponymous jewelry collections from the San Francisco Store to benefit Helpers.
