Terra Group, One Sotheby’s International Realty and architect Rene Gonzalez have launched a new 18-story, 10-unit luxury condominium called Glass in Miami Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood. On May 8, the launch took place at the rooftop of RED, The Steakhouse with 250 of Miami’s industry elites.

The May 8 glass-inspired celebration had attendees on the rooftop viewing an art installation by Ivan Toth Dapeña, the artist working with Rene Gonzalez on the experiential elevators to be featured in the all-glass tower, according to press release. “Martin”, “Rene” and “Raymond” craft cocktails were served in honor of Pedro and David Martin of Terra Group, architect Rene Gonzalez and landscape architect Raymond Jungles. To close the evening, guests were shown Terra Group’s documentary on the making of Glass. All guests received La Sardina cameras as they left the exclusive event. Attendees included Pedro and David Martin, Rene Gonzalez, Eloy Carmenate, Cathy Leff, Patricio Kreutzberger, John Joseph Lin and Claudio Faria.

Glass will feature 10 exclusive full-floor units ranging in price from $7.5 million to $35 million for the triplex penthouse. The condominium will include floor-to-ceiling layouts, 100-foot long glass windows, eight-foot deep terraces, 360 degree views, stone kitchens, high-end appliances, personalized amenities, an onsite estate manager, pool services, valet, housekeeping, maintenance, beach service with 20 reserved spots, a gym and 24-hour security. Glass was designed as a response to Miami Beach’s setting giving unit owners the experience of the surrounding landscape. Each of the ten owners will occupy an entire floor and there are no unit numbers when you get off the elevator – just a home.

This is famed architect Rene Gonzalez’s first residential high-rise tower in Miami. Developed by Terra Group, the developer behind Grove at Grand Bay, Glass is the last high-rise building to be built in South of Fifth, one of the most exclusive and expensive neighborhoods on Miami Beach.
