Haute Event: Kid ‘n Play Puts on a Show at Tao with Bill Maher, Craig Robinson in the Crowd
Worship Thursday at Tao at the Venetian hosted a Pajama Jam with special guest Kid ‘n Play. The hip-hop duo of Christopher “Kid” Reid and Christopher “Play” Martin fueled up for their night in the restaurant with orange chicken, wok sirloin, coconut shrimp and Chilean sea bass before heading up to a VIP table in the nightclub.
The two took to the stage to perform a medley of classic tunes including “Ain’t Gonna Hurt Nobody.” The crowd enjoyed the old school vibe but went wild when they did “the dance.” After the performance, pillows dropped from the ceiling as the packed club got down with a pillow fight.
The deejay helped lead the crowd in wishing Reid a happy birthday and surprised him with a cake.
Comedian Bill Maher and actor Craig Robinson, best known for his role on “The Office,” helped celebrate Kid’s birthday and took in the club scene at their VIP table on the dance floor.
