NYC: America’s #1 Tourist Destination
Although Newsweek has continuously bashed the Big Apple for the awful state of its economy and lack of jobs, they finally gave the city something to celebrate.
While Orlando previously held the torch as the #1 tourist destination in America, possibly due to Disney World and Universal theme parks and the 4-hour distance from Miami Beach, now, Newsweek has proclaimed that New York City has Orlando beat. Although Newsweek has continuously bashed the Big Apple for the awful state of its economy and lack of jobs, they finally gave the city something to celebrate. After all, who doesn’t love the city famous for hundreds of movies, TV sitcoms (Friends, Sex & the City), and home to the Empire State Building and Statue of Liberty? Hooray, New York!
