Along with the Dolphin Bay’s Executive Chef Evan Treadwell, they are bringing in two guest chefs. The first from the delicious Sierra Mar restaurant at Post Ranch Inn, Craig von Foerster; the second, Joseph Humphrey, of Murray Circle restaurant at Cavallo Point Lodge.
The wonderous weekend starts out with champagne, sparkling wine and caviar from around the world. After enjoying a romantic swim, a relaxing bath and a great nights sleep in your Ocean View Villa, start off the next day with something a little more exciting. Roll up your sleeves and learn how to make your very own history-book -worthy meal. Executive Chef Evan Treadwell and guest chef Joseph Humphrey will be leading an Interactive Cooking Demonstration and Luncheon. For two hours Saturday afternoon, mingle with all the other goodtimers and show off your culinary skills.
Sunday evening is the grand finale of the affair. An amazing seven-course meal is going to showcase Central California Coast’s bounty in each dish, which will be paired with nationally known and limited run regional wines. The three chefs worked together to create the menu, which includes Morro Bay black cod with charred Monterey squid, heirloom melon and pancetta, paired with a Chamisal 2007 Califa Chardonnay from Edna Valley. Another dish is Broken Arrow Ranch antelope with avocado mousseline and grape gastrique, paired with a McKeon and Phillips 2006 Malbec from Santa Maria Valley.
