Ferrari Unveils a Dozen 599 HGTE China Edition Cars

As if driving an Italian-made Ferrari sports car wasn’t elite enough, the ultimate brand in speed and luxury is taking the next step to making itself just that little bit more exclusive.

With a strong market of buyers in China, Ferrari is showing some immense appreciation to the nation by announcing a special edition exclusively for the Chinese market.

The limited edition will be based on the 599 GTB Fiorano and will incorporate the company’s new Handling GTE package. To add a special touch for the consumers of this special edition masterpiece, Ferrari has employed the help of Chinese artist Lu Hao to spruce up the car and make it something special for the restricted number (a dozen to be exact) of Chinese consumers who will call this car their own. Some features added by Mr. Hao include a starter button that glows jade green, Chinese characters placed on the tachometer instead of the usual numerals, and luggage decorated with a map of the Silk Road taken by the famous Italian explorer Marco Polo.

It is estimated that due to the number of Ferrari buyers in China and the obvious appeal of this limited edition automobile, the sleek twelve cars brimming with Italian luxury will be gone before you can say “Ciao.”
