Celebrity stylist and photographer Sheenon Olson opens Atma Beauty salon in Sunset Harbour. It introduces a new level of luxury to the modern day salon by focusing on both outer and inner beauty and offering an upscale, high-end salon experience in an intimate and welcoming setting.
“We are thrilled to open Atma in Sunset Harbour,” says Sheenon Olson, Creative Director of Atma. “We have thoughtfully designed the salon to create the most pampering beauty experience possible. Atma isn’t only a salon. It’s a personification of all my passions — beauty, photography, makeup and style — all under one roof. I’ve created a space where I can share those things I love the most with others.”
The 7,000 square-foot space with it’s 30-foot ceilings is lofty-lux while still being comfortable for customers whom can relax in the scattered seating areas around the salon and watch a photo shoot or lounge while having a glass of wine or some coffee.
The salon offers services by both local and traveling stylists, colorists and beauty experts that are all pros in their fields. Services include color, styling, spray tans by Fabiola Trujillo’s SoBe Tan, nails, Keratin straightener, extensions and makeup. And as an added bonus, all products used are free of harmful chemicals and the salon itself is part of Green Circle Salons, meaning they recycle everything including human hair that can be used to clean up an oil spill. In addition to these beauty services Atma will have a photo studio, offering editorial and personal photography as well as a coffee bar.
But Olson, who is know for working with several A-List celebrities Alessandra Ambrosia, Chris Colfer, Matt Lanter, Elizabeth Olson and Rachel Roy, did not complete this project alone. Ana Lessa, Atma’s CEO and Saladino Design Studios helped him perfect the project, while he brings his countless years of experience from working with world-renowned publications, such as Marie Claire, Nylon and Vogue.
“Atma is very personal to us. It’s an ego-free zone where our artists’ passions and common drive for perfection and innovation can flow and blend, inspiring one another to create more interesting art and beauty,” said Ana Lessa.
