On Thursday, Sept. 30, Jenna and Bryan Hunt, the chairs of the San Francisco Fall Antiques Show (SFFAS) Enthusiasts Committee, held an invitation only event at the trendy Black Fleece on Fillmore Street in San Francisco. The SFFAS is the old continuously operating international antique show on the entire West Coast. The show features a range of fine and decorative arts from all over the world. This year, the show will be held from Oct. 28 through Oct. 31 at the Festival Pavilion at Fort Mason Center.

On Thursday, Oct. 21, the Young Patrons of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas (POA) along with conductor Alondra de la Parra, celebrated the season opening at Casa Mezcal on the Lower East Side. The evening previewed POA's first concert of the season, which takes place Friday, Oct. 29 at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall. Composer and DJ Gene Pritsker mixed music from the upcoming concert and POA clarinetist Nuno Antunes performed.
