Culinary and Culture Collide at the Ria Artist Series Dinners

Melding the creative and the culinary, Ria at the Elysian Hotel will host a selection of “Artist Series Dinners,” featuring a four-course tasting menu to compliment an ongoing showcase of  local Chicago artists.  The first dinner will be held on Monday, October 25 at 7 pm and will feature the work of renowned local artist Francine Turk. Turk is  is best known for her graceful charcoal drawings, including “Parisian Raven II,”  which was featured in the Jennifer Aniston film, “The Break Up.”

Mix, mingle and enjoy the art at a pre-dinner cocktail reception with wine pairings by Executive Chef Jason McLeod.  The artists will also be on hand to connect with guests during the dinner.

Ria is a seafood-influenced upscale restaurant offering an exceptional dining experience in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.  Executive Chef McLeod utilizes a wide variety of inspired ingredients, from the Norwegian seas and the Alaskan coast to the lush Midwestern farmlands of Chicago’s backyard. The menu is an ever-changing progression of the freshest possible fish and sustainably sourced meats, poultry, and produce.
