On Friday, Oct. 15, San Francisco Performances (SFP) celebrated its 31st Season with a fundraising gala at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel. As the Bay Area’s leading independent presenter of chamber music, vocal, jazz, and dance recitals, SFP is committed to helping San Francisco’s arts scene and education.

In anticipation of the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) Art Fair Miami Beach 2010, guests gathered at Canyon Ranch Living – Miami Beach on Sunday, Oct. 24, to celebrate the property’s partnership with the New Art Dealers Alliance. A pool party in the newly completed North Tower was highlighted by a performance and video installation by Psychic Youth, the performance art troupe headed by Federico Nessi. On Sunday, I joined Matthew and Nicole Mellon for lunch at La Bottega. On Monday after a hard workout at Soul Cycle, (which I have recently become obsessed with) I had two lunches. The first was at Fred’s with Lizzie Tisch, Hope Sidman, Brett Heyman, and Debbie Peltz. Of course half of the conversation was about spinning! Then it was off to my second lunch with Serena Boardman and Rena Sindi, who is in from London with her girls. There we bumped into Thomas Leclerc who everyone knows from St Tropez because of his fabulous parties with outrageous things like tigers roaming the grounds.

OliO, as it's name would suggest, is Italian eating at its finest. They recently launched their late-night menu (they stay open until 4 a.m.!). It's perfect for haute foodies who are craving some good eats, after a night out at the hottest clubs, of course.

On Saturday, Oct. 23, the new “90210’s” Shenae Grimes (now 21) and Jessica Stroup (now 24) celebrated their birthdays together at the exclusive Beacher's Madhouse in Los Angeles. The venue, co-owned by David Arquette and Jeff Beacher, is located at the trendy Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and does not officially open to the public until 2011.
