Step Inside The Only Spa de La Mer In The U.S.
When two iconic and esteemed brands come together, you can expect magic to happen. And that is exactly what happened when French crystal brand Baccarat and the prestigious skincare brand La Mer came together. In collaboration, they launched La Mer’s first full service spa in the United States: Spa de La Mer.
While the spa has been around for a couple of years, their off-the-menu couple’s massage option has the area buzzing. As of February 2018 (inspired by Valentine’s Day) every massage except for Hot Stone and Maternity is available to have as a couples massage. The best part is that you can mix and match options so that you and your partner can experience two different body treatments simulatenously.
You will find Spa de la Mer at Baccarat Hotel & Residences New York directly beneath the hotel’s gorgeous entrance. However, before reaching the spa, guests will be greeted by an impressive 55-foot indoor swimming pool and whirlpool surrounded by magnificent daybeds designed by Gilles & Boissier.
Boasting four treatment rooms, each offers the guest a sense of relaxation, luxury, and complete serenity. The spa offers an array of body and face services but it’s signature treatments like the La Mer Baccarat Facial and La Mer Body Treatment are what the spa is known for.
Other treatments include: The La Mer Purifying Facial, The La Mer Miracle Broth Facial, The La Mer Custom Facial, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Sports Massage, Mother-to-Be Massage, Body Scrub, and the Fresh Hydrating Wrap. Times for different treatments will vary but all massages are offered for 60 or 90 minutes.
