Quick Hits: Experience Romance Month at the Fontainebleau
Valentines Day might be over after February 14th, but the Fontainebleau Miami Beach ensures that you won’t have to wait another 365 days to feel the love with their special month-long line up of intimate dinners and romantic activities. National Romance Month is bringing everything from private prix-fixe menus to chocolate and champagne tastings to the iconic South Beach hotel this February so that guests can indulge in the love all month long.
Chocolate and Champagne Tastings at Scarpetta by Scott Conant
Indulge in a sommelier-led chocolate and champagne tasting every Thursday from 6 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Scarpetta by Scott Conant, where guests can sample a trilogy of champagnes and three decadent chocolate pralines crafted in-house by elite chocolatiers for $30 a person.
Sweet Treats from Chez Bon
Treat yourself all month long at the hotel’s in-house bakery, Chez Bon, where they will be serving up romantic dessert offerings such as the Dark Chocolate Strawberry Cake made with strawberry mousse, strawberry preserves and dark chocolate buttercream, or the “My Heart” petit gateaux, composed of fresh rasberries, madeleine sponge and vanilla Bavarian cream, with an assortment of other sweet confections such as cake pops, cupcakes and pralines.
Dinner Under the Stars at StripSteak
Pencil in your Saturday date nights and be sure to snag a spot at Stripsteak by Michael Mina, which will offer a romantic candle-lit, flower adorned private cabana dinner for two, every Saturday of the month starting at 7 p.m. For $500, you and your special someone can enjoy a lavish meal under the stars, with savory selections such as the Kabocha Pumpkin Soup, Shellfish platter, baby beet salad, Chateaubriand and a milk chocolate mousse bar for dessert. You can also enhance the experience with a sommelier chosen wine pairing. Cheers!
