From the looks of it, 2017 is off to a strong start in Miami. As one of the top destinations to spend NYE and also the most expensive, the city celebrated multiple outlandish and star-studded affairs throughout the night in Downtown Miami, Miami Beach and North Miami Beach.
Without question, this year’s most sought-after party took place at Miami Beach’s famed Fontainebleau Hotel, to no surprise wrangling in Bieber to complete the over-the-top celebration. With ticket sales at an all-time high, Beliebers packed the Fontainebleau to see the star perform as he belted crowd favorites including, “Sorry,” and “Let me Love You.”
Nearby, top German DJ Robin Schulz had the crowd going wild at the posh W South Beach’s WET poolside performance, setting the mood right for the after-party, where guests moved into the hotel’s haute nightclub WALL for a special, “Be Crazy! Ibiza” party with beats from Jean Claude Ades.

If you decided to spend NYE away from the crazy scene in Miami Beach, chances are you made your way over to Downtown’s 24/7 party destination, E11even, where the ever-so-popular club headlined Nikki Minaj for a special NYE performance. DJ Irie was spotted amongst the crowd of VIP guests.

The brand-new Brickell City Centre‘s EAST, Miami hotel made its debut on the Miami NYE scene in a strong way as it welcomed Questlove along with NY-based DJ Elle Dee to its 40th floor Sugar lounge for a live performance. The entire Roots band attended to see their friend after their own performance nearby, along with M1 of Dead Perez, Black Thought/Tariq of the Roots and more.

Other celebs spotted throughout the night included 2 Chainz and Tyson Beckford at Rockwell, DJ Ruckus and REV Run with Shanina Shaik at Hyde Beach’s “A Night in Cuba,” Mary J. Blige at Five Star New Year’s Eve on Watson Island, Snoop Dogg at Miami’s newest nightclub ORA, Jamie Foxx at the 1 Hotel Rooftop, Jonathan Cheban, John Manziel, Jeremy Piven and others for Skrillex at LIV.

But the party didn’t stop there. The following night, LIV and E11even continued the 2017 celebrations, drawing in boldface names eager to party with Justin Bieber before departing the 305. Odell Beckham Jr. even skipped his team’s flight home to get one more night in with the crew, starting at LIV on Sunday and fittingly ending the night in the wee hours of the morning at E11even. Others that were spotted at the two Miami nightlife meccas included Khloe Kardashian with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, Adrien Brody, Jamie Foxx, 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, Tank, Tyson Beckford, actress and singer Keke Palmer, Doutzen Kroes with husband Sunnery James, Ryan Marciano, Victor Cruz, Giancarlo Stanton, Naughty by Nature, Victor Cruz, Fabolous, Trey Songz, and Young Jeezy.Â
