Michael Voltaggio’s Ink hosts James Beard Celebrity Tour Dinner

On Sunday, former Top Chef winner Michael Voltaggio’s Ink will host a James Beard Celebrity Tour Dinner with Nancy Silverton, Jon Shook and Jordon Kahn.

The $200 dinner will take place at Ink, which is located at 8360 Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. The restaurant is Voltaggio’s first signature restaurant and according to the website “endeavors to create an indelible impression with flavor profiles that are inspired by the myriad of cultures that make up the city of Los Angeles.”

On Sunday, the restaurant will be transformed into a celebrity chef haven with chefs from Mozza, Animal, Red Medicine and Jeremy Fox and according to Grub Street, the menu includes items such as “Matt Molina’s beloved uovo, ricotta, and brown butter ravioli, a cereal grain morcilla from Fox and chicken friend sweetbreads from Vinny Dotolo and Jon Shook.” Desserts will be provided by Nancy Silverton who will serve “a starter of burrata with caviar”.

Additional menu items for the event include: Fluke, Apple, Celery, Ginger (Vinny Dotolo & Jon Shook, Animal & Son of Gun), Charcoal Beef Cheeks, Date Miso, Cauliflower, Charred Onion (Michael Voltaggio & Cole Dickinson, ink.), and Redwood Ice, Sorrel Custard, Tofu Skin, Herb Stems (Jordan Kahn, Red Medicine).
