Paging Dr. Vuitton

News | November 6, 2009

Move over, Band-Aid! You’ve just been owned by the Louis Vuitton Boîte Spéciale Croix-Rouge, or in simpler terms, the Louis first aid kit.  Finally, a Louis fit to house your ointments and gauze. Created by Patrick-Louis Vuitton, the unique kit is part of a charity auction benefitting, of course, The Red Cross. Vuitton explains that the frontally-opening canvas case is “visually impactful.” Talk about an understatement!

Inside the famous VL-smattered exterior, little gray and red boxes are arranged into the shape of a red cross, and stuffed with the traditional supplies to create the ultimate in fashionable first aid.  With this incredibly chic case, Vuitton proves there is a way to jazz up something as boring as your tweezers and Neosporin. I cannot think of a better way to say Happy 150th Birthday to Red Cross than the stunning Louis Vuitton Boîte Spéciale Croix-Rouge.
