Don’t want to bother with cooking or planning a menu this Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? There is still plenty of time to make a reservation at one of the following places.

Finn Town

Finn Town, the tavern with a twist in the Castro District, will be open on Christmas Eve with extended brunch hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Executive chef Steve Dustin is offering a spread of seasonal brunch dishes. Guests can indulge in cornflake-crusted fried chicken and pumpkin waffles with bourbon maple syrup, Vermont cheddar, swiss chard, pumpkin seed pesto, and butternut squash frittata, or French toast stuffed with spiced apples, marshmallow, and walnuts. Delish!

Acacia House

In Napa, at Acacia House, the restaurant is hosting its first annual Feast of the Seven Cultures. On December 24th there is a special one-night-only tasting menu created by chef Chris Cosentino. The menu includes Dungeness crab tart; scallops with sea urchin, lardo and cauliflower; and a fennel yule log with Meyer lemon. There are two seatings available, 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Seafood lovers take note! At Tratto, the modern Italian restaurant at The Marker hotel, the team is serving a traditional Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve. Chef de cuisine Robert Birnschein is cooking seven seafood-centric courses. There will be everything from oven-roasted clams to hamachi crudo to lobster risotto to seafood stew.

Top of the Mark

Whether you want to celebrate in the morning or in the evening on Christmas Day, the Top of the Mark has you covered. Join chef Michael Wong for an extensive brunch or dinner buffet while enjoying the breathtaking 360 degree views of the San Francisco Bay Area. What’s on the menu? Traditional holiday roasts like prime rib or leg of lamb alongside a selection of fresh seafood, pastas, salads, and more. Those dining for brunch can enjoy an omelette station, Belgian waffles, and eggs Benedicts. Christmas Day brunch seatings are from 9:30 a.m. to 1pm and dinner is from 3 to 7 p.m. Musician Michael Athens will perform alongside Ricardo Scales on piano.

There are three dinner seatings at Americano, the restaurant at the Hotel Vitale, on Christmas Day. Enjoy a three-course prix-fixe menu from 2 to 3, 4 to 5, or 6 to 7 p.m. Diners get to choose which items they want to eat from a selection of three items per course. Some of the deliciousness includes cauliflower and chestnut soup with pecorino cheese; butternut squash ravioli with spinach pesto; roasted duck breast with apples and bacon; and flourless chocolate cake with eggnog ice cream.
