Golden Eagles for 2010 are Awarded in Moscow
January is traditionally considered as a calm period in Moscow social life. But there is one spectacular event highly anticipated by Russians that take place exactly at that month –The Golden Eagle Award.
The Golden Eagle award is a national award for motion pictures and TV series made in Russia, held since 2002 and modelled on the Golden Globe and the Oscar Awards ceremonies. The Golden Eagle is usually hosted by the Mosfilm Studios and given out in 20 nominations.

Houston Texan Jarvis Green, along with his twin brother, Jason Green (who made a surprise appearance) celebrated his 32nd birthday at Zooma Trattoria Restaurant in Providence, RI on Jan. 21. The birthday bash was one not to be missed. The party was particularly special for Green because it benefited The Jarvis Green Foundation, which helps disadvantaged single mothers in low income areas.

The Glamour, Glitter & Generosity benefit for Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter (NCS) was held on Jan. 18 at Mauboussin's David Rockwell-designed store at 714 Madison Avenue. More than 100 New Yorkers attended the event, which was hosted by Christine Cachot, COO of Mauboussin and co-hosted by Christine Miller Martin, Managing Director of Warburg Realty. NCS is a non-profit organization providing a variety of impressive programs and housing to help homeless individuals secure employment, sobriety, and long-term self-sufficiency.

I Feel Pretty: West Side Story Hits the Fox Theatre
It has arrived! One of the most successful and most beloved musicals of all time is making its way to Atlanta’s Fox Theatre for a week-long engagement that promises to serve up all of the classic songs, colorful costumes and memorable performances that have made it an American treasure for decades. West Side Story kicks off its Atlanta show on January 25 at 8 p.m. and all show tune addicts, such as myself, and those that are completely obsessed with all things theatre-related are as excited as though Christmas morning just had a rewind. I honestly can’t think of one bad thing about West Side Story, which is my favorite musical of all time, everything about it is divine and I will be severely tempted to refrain from going to every performance while it graces the Atlanta stage with grandiose magnificence.
