After months of meet and greet happy hours and online voting, Chicago’s first male pageant, The One Man Chicago “Mangeant” concluded last night, highlighting twenty of the city’s biggest do gooders to choose the winner as the hautest male in the city. Hosts Kelli Zink of Celebtv.com and NBC 5 meteorologist Ginger Zee crowned Prevent Blindness America Representative William Burfeind with his charming persona, good looks and shining skills with a yoyo tied to his waist (a la Minute to Win it).

Though this cuisine trend is nothing innovative, a company is taking the concept to the next level. German based Aureapassion has created a line of sugar, salt, pepper, liqueur, and even bath salts, all gilded in shining gold.

I’m not really sure when this whole detox fad started and rarely do I like to be negative, but boy is it really stupid. Tomorrow marks the launch of Starbucks new line of ultra-premium exotic coffees, Starbucks Reserve. After a highly successful online launch, the rare coffee beans will now debut in select Starbucks stores. Starbucks Reserve is only available in large metropolitan markets and for a limited time, with short supply. The coffees are available in the cities of New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Boston, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Miami.
