Bring Back a Taste of the Golden Era With a Rare $500 Frank Sinatra Whiskey

Anyone who’s a true fan of Frank Sinatra knows that whiskey was his jam. After an initial recommendation by friend Jackie Gleason, Ol’ Blue Eyes kept a glass of signature tipple, Jack Daniel’s, within sipping distance (often on a nearby stool during performances). It was his drink of choice at bars in his favorite cities, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Chicago, Miami and (of course) New York. He was even buried with a flask in his pocket. Dang.
Now, in honor of the legendary crooner’s 100th birthday, Jack Daniel’s has created a special whiskey in his honor, the Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Century. Get it while it’s hot though friends, this is a one-time only, extremely limited run: only 100 barrels of the new marque were created.
Master distiller Jeff Arnett worked hand-in-hand with the Sinatra family to taste and select the perfect blend. The result: a big character, 100-proof whiskey with a pleasantly smoky and rich oak aroma. Like all of Jack Daniel’s expressions, Sinatra Century is  crafted using the same cave spring water from the Jack Daniel’s Hollow, proprietary yeast and charcoal-mellowing process that’s been used in the distillery’s nearly 150-year-old Tennessee Whiskey recipe.  In those barrels, the liquid is exposed to extra layers of perfectly toasted oak through a grooving process in proprietary “Sinatra” barrels, done at the Jack Daniel’s Cooperage.
Each bottle is enclosed with a luxury gift box and will also offer a selection of previously unrecorded Sinatra tracks entitled “Sinatra Live at the Sands in 1966.”
Jack Daniels Sinatra Century is now available nationwide. The product is priced at approximately $499.99 per 1L.

Commenting on Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Century, Frank Sinatra Jr. explains, “Sinatra Century is a fitting tribute to Dad and the perfect way to mark his centenary in December. Jack Daniel’s was Dad’s drink of choice, whether entertaining friends, or making new acquaintances. Therefore, it only seems right that we raise a toast of Sinatra Century to the musical legend as we celebrate what would have been his 100th birthday this year.”
