Journeyman Distillery Dinner at 2 Sparrows
2 Sparrows evokes the spirit of 1960s’ classic cocktails for its monthly dinner series in partnership with Journeyman Distillery Friday, February 28th. Hailing from Three Oaks, Michigan, Journeyman will bring several of its handcrafted, organically certified spirits to 2 Sparrows to be paired with four courses of time-honored, quintessential American cuisine by Chef/Owner Gregory Ellis. 2 Sparrows’ dedication to staying seasonal continues with this throwback to an era of definitive, classic dishes. The four-course menu is as follows:
“Rockefeller” with Oysters, Breadcrumbs, Watercress & Mignonette
Journeyman Red Arrow Vodka Martini
“Waldorf” with Romaine, Grapes, Apples, Walnuts & Citrus Green Goddess
Journeyman Bilberry Black Hearts Gin Gimlet
“A La King” with Roasted Chicken, Rye Spaetzle, Confit, Wild Mushrooms & Peas
Journeyman Ravenswood Rye Sazerac
“Pineapple Upside Down” with Financier Cake, Caramelized Pineapple & Rum Caramel
Journeyman Road’s End Rum Mai Tai
The Journeyman Distillery Dinner at 2 Sparrows begins at 7:00 pm and is priced at $55 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity. Seating is limited to 60 guests and reservations are required by calling (773) 234-2320.
