Michigan Avenue’s Super Chefs Event
Chicago is definitely a huge food town and we take any opportunity to showcase our love for fine dining. Michigan Avenue’s Mag recently held a Super Chefs event at the River Arts Center (435 E. Illinois). Fabio Viviani, Devon Quinn, Michael Ponzio and many more of the top chefs from the city’s best restaurants came together for the event.
The event consisted of the chefs preparing gourmet two-bite samples and pairing them with wines from Terlato Wines International. Needless to say the guests were very happy with the outcome. Even though all the chefs did a spectacular job, according to Michigan Ave, the standout was Top Chef Alum Fabio Viviani. Viviani created a truffle gnocchi that had guests praising the dish all night. It seems as if anytime you bring truffles into a recipe you are sure to get a good reaction, it’s like the prom queen of gourmet foods.
Great food made by great chefs wasn’t the only thing the guests got a chance to experience. Infiniti was kind enough to bring out two of their newest cars for everyone to check out. The Infiniti JX and the IPL G convertible were on hand to wow guests and splash a little more luxury on the evening.
