Stephen Webster Bedecks Rodeo with the Help of a Few Other Brits

World famous jewelry designer (and handsome British dude) Stephen Webster hosted a cocktail party for the opening of his flagship American boutique on tony Rodeo Drive. The bi-level boutique boasts Webster’s silver and fine jewelry collections including the one-of-a-kind piece below, ( I’ll take two please) as well as a couture collection.

It was an Anglophile’s dream come true, as various Brits came out to help Webster celebrate: Kate Beckinsale, David “Little Britain” Walliams, designer Julia Clancey, and fashion plate George Blodwell.

Upstairs there was a permanent bar (the perfect accoutrement to any jewelry establishment, me thinks)
and a rotating collection of international artists curated by Webster, currently exhibiting: Antony Micallef, Faile, Jonathan Yeo, Vhils and David Choe (who all happen to be artists under the tutelage of dealer Steve Lazarides of Laz Inc back in London). In the window overlooking the grand Via Rodeo staircase the Stephen Webster store features a “stylist-of-the-month”, where stylists and costume designers alike will invited to create visual marvels. The premiere window showcases celebrity stylist Marjan Malakpour featuring clothing by Thomas Wylde and hair and make-up by Pamela Neal. Celebrities, tastemakers, stylists, and editors enjoyed cocktails courtesy of Grey Goose Vodka and hors d’oeuvres while trying on Webster’s eponymous collection.
