Jeffrey Chodorow has achieved untold successes throughout his extended career as a restaurateur. He has taken many of our own Haute Living markets by storm, including New York, Los Angeles, and Miami under the umbrella of his culinary corp China Grill Management. And though they can’t seem to salivate enough over him in those cities, the San Francisco foodies did not seem to embrace him in such a way that would provide any type of longevity.
Word from Eater SF yesterday reported that Asia de Cuba in the Clift Hotel will fire up the stoves for the last time on April 17. Official reports on who will be taking over the Philippe Starck-designed interior restaurant space is still somewhat sketchy, other than indications that Clift’s parental units, Morgan’s Hotel Group, will be back in charge.
