Harrods’ latest addition to their line of delicious delicacies will be the Whoopie Pie. Whoopies are little cake and cookie sandwiches filled with buttercream frosting. Originating from New England, these little treats are now making big waves in the European food industry. Harrods’ expect pastry chefs created four flavors including gingerbread with spices, vanilla, and chocolate designs; pistachio with green fondant icing and edible glitter; the classic, which includes both chocolate and vanilla with edible sparkles; and red velvet with chocolate, peanut butter cream, and candy hearts. All Whoopies feature fluffy cake “pillows” filled with delectable vanilla buttercream and topped with adorable, and edible designs.
