San Francisco Calendar Listing: Artisano

WHAT:  Artisano – A new, exclusive event featuring regional handcrafted foods, wines, art, and music to benefit Slow Food Sonoma County’s School Garden Project.

WHO: Chef Josh Silvers from Syrah in Santa Rosa; Chef Jeff Mall from Zin in Healdsburg; and Chef Gerald Hirigoyen from Piperade in San Francisco will be joined by Ziggy, The Wine Gal, KRSH Radio and The Steve Pile Band for a celebration of the region’s finest wine, food, and art.

Wineries participating include: MacPhail, Davenport, Garden Creek, Foursight Vineyards, Montemaggiore, Verge, Duxoup Winery, Skewis, Palmeri, Kelley & Young, Chiarito Vineyard, Domenichelli, Forth Vineyards, Godwin, Hughes, Icaria, Landy Family Vineyards, Leo Steen Wines, Medlock Ames, Miro Cellars, Pena Ridge, Pendleton Estate, Saini Vineyards, Skipstone and Stromberg Vineyards.

The following restaurants will provide cuisine: Charlie Palmer’s Dry Creek Kitchen; Zazu; Diavola; Delice de la Vallee; Manzanita; Rosso Pizzeria & Wine Bar; Cow Girl Creamery; Bellwether Farms; Point Reyes Farmstead; Redwood Hill Farm; Sonoma Foie Gras; Black Pig Meat Company; Hoffman House, Sonoma Chocolatiers; Sensuous Farms, Jimtown Store, Bovolo, Costeaux French Bakery, Dry Creek Peach and Produce, Healdsburg Toffee, Shamrock Artisan Goat Cheese, Skipstone Ranch and Terra Sonoma.

And the art portion of the event will be courtesy of: Michael Coy, Linda Schroeter, Clay Vajgart, Gerald Reis, Kenyon Lewis, Jean M. Herschede, Kimberly Howland, Marilyn Webster, Mary Linnea Vaughan and Tony Spiers.
