Cognac Fit for Kings

Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail has launched their Rémy Martin Louis XIII Rare Cask Cognac. Fit for nothing more than those who seek the finer things in life, this Cognac is ready to set the standard for fine liqueurs.

Designed with an air of 21st Century French Monarchy, the black bottle is sure to turn heads. The Baccarat artisans used more than 50 operations to make this special decanter, which is handcrafter in rare black crystal. Adorned with a fleur de lis on the top and throughout the bottle, it brings nothing more than regality to the already rich flavors that wait inside.

Not made for the faint of heart and created distinctly for true luxury living, the cognac is made at strength of 43.8 proof. The fine libation consists of a blend of 1,200 eaux-de-vie aged between 40 and 100 years.

Needless to say, this would be a great nightcap for a true king. I’d venture to think that even Louis the XIII would be jealous.
