What’s next for Soho House? LA, Miami, Las Vegas …
Soho House, the private members’ club/hotel in Manhattan, is eyeing expansion in the coming year or so, with three specific markets in mind: Los Angeles, Miami, and Las Vegas.
Soho House New York has been popular for its exclusive amenities, including a rooftop lounge that features a bar and a heated pool, and it appears that targeted expansion in LA and Miami would only make sense considering the cities’ taste for luxury.
The LA expansion is likely to take place in the winter of 2008, while Miami would follow in 2009. Soho House Las Vegas is merely a rumor at this point, though a spokesperson did confirm that Vegas has been discussed as a potential next step.
Known for its ability to draw well-to-do clientele, Soho House New York provides a screening room, steam rooms, library, restaurants, games room, and much more, providing an all-inclusive package that would surely swoon some of Miami and LA’s biggest ballers to take a look.
As for Vegas? There are tons of power players with money to burn, and rolling the dice to invest in Soho House is one gamble that should pay great dividends.
