Jewel did something most can’t. She showed us pivotal pages from her diary at the “One Night For One Drop” event. What most may deem as vulnerable is downright courageous. And, it’s a much-needed narrative in a time when the world finds itself in despair.

There’s this sad and misunderstood narrative surrounding vulnerability. The term is often discussed as a weakness. Instead, what it should be associated with is a unique strength because only a few people possess it and even fewer act on it. When aligned with those two elements, you tap into the source.

The source is the pathway to everything you want. Through the source, you dial into this vibrational energy that unlocks your ability to heal from any damage you’ve encountered throughout your life. To hold other people responsible for your inner being is not a very good choice. Your walking life becomes a reflection of that. Hurt people, hurt people. That is the world we live in right now, but source eradicates that.

Cirque du Soleil understood this strength in Jewel and the power of source so well that they were so clear and so pure with their intention to tell her story. And, they did so beautifully and honorably. I felt so fortunate to see how someone went from a product of abusive divorced parents – both mentally and emotionally – who experienced abandonment, was surrounded by alcohol addiction, and went through a period of homelessness, into a GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter. And, a show depicting such a life at the Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil Theater at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas to show for it!

It becomes absolutely crystal clear that what happened to her happened for her. This is what happens when you tap into the source. You feel like celebrating your best truest life with courage, not vulnerability.

Vibrationally, the source allows you to deliberately create, share, and give back. When you do this, you activate the untapped ability you’ve had all along and become a “jewel” in the world. The energy you inhabit is so intense that you can’t go back to living a life without purpose. As a result, you become Guy Laliberté whose internal energy has manifested into companies he’s created like Cirque du Soleil. Its intention is to entertain people and fill them with the energy of happiness.

Through this he is then inspired to utilize his prosperous business as a vehicle to bring even more generous people in one room, who to are tapped into the source, by the way, that bid on unreleased-to-the-market Piguet watches at $200k, for charity. That charity is the nonprofit called One Drop whose sole mission is to provide accessible water to underprivileged communities around the world. Laliberté founded that too.

The abundance continues because he then taps people like Jewel who tapped into her own source to find people like Laliberté. He would have helped share her story to inspire others to tap into the very same lessons of source, courage, and clarity. It’s no coincidence.

See, the momentum does not subside when you tap into the source; it dominates your vibration and creates a domino effect. Do you see where I’m getting at? Because to understand what happened at the One Night One Drop event for One Drop you have to understand the power of “source”. It allowed people like Jewel, Guy Laliberté, One Drop, Cirque du Soleil, and everyone else involved to make that night happen for the millions of people around the world who are deserving of accessible water with a story of their own to tell.
