New Menin Hospitality Hotspot Ricky’s Opens Tonight

Ricky's

The newest gem in the lengthy Menin Hospitality portfolio, Ricky’s, is set to open tonight at 11:59 p.m. for a surprise opening. When midnight strikes, doors will open to the long-awaited bar that evokes an old-school carnival theme. Complete with arcade games and a mouth-watering selection of your favorite carnival treats (including corn dogs, chicken & waffles, apple pie rings and more), Ricky’s offers both classic entertainment and a hip nightlife scene in one epic setting. And even more good news–it’s right next door to Menin’s other South Beach favorite, Bodega Taqueria y Tequila. So if you’re still needing that taco fix by the end of the night, you’re in luck. Between the two of these spots, you’ll no longer have to stray off 16th Street to experience South Beach’s best.

While the menu offers a handful of American Classics, it also delivers an amazing variety of inventive dishes offering something for everyone, including Lamb Burger Smash, Smoked Italian Sausage, Smoked Chicken lollipop wings with spicy guava sauce, Buffalo Cauliflower, and a Smoked Quinoa Bowl, to name a few of the standouts. And of course, the cocktail menu is just as important, offering fun cocktails including the “Nutty Julep” that’s served in a tin cup with a bouquet of mint and powdered sugar, and the “Don’t Mess with Peso,” that’s a bit stronger and served in a special fancy glass topped with orange zest. On Game Night, Ricky’s offers Punch in a Barrel, a $100 customizable, booze-filled barrel that serves four to eight people, allowing guests to create their own punch featuring a spirit of their choice along with greens, fruit and spice.
