Seriously, who doesn’t love a downright authentic taqueria spot? Whether it’s casual lunch or late-night debauchery, taquerias always seem to deliver (if you go to the right ones that is.) Here are the most caliente taquerias in the spicy city of Miami that will have you saying ¡Caramba!

1 Bodega Taqueria y Tequila

There's a lot more than meets the eye at this colorful little taco shop that features an airstream food truck built right in. But first things first: amazing tacos and super fresh guacamole. Try the flame broiled pork taco or the camaron BLT taco, you can expect some pretty explosive flavors. Finish the meal with a home made Mexican sorbet or ice cream bar packed with real fruit. One last thing, Bodega's bathroom will probably become your favorite bathroom of all time (hint: it's actually a raucous bar after hours!)

2 Coyo Taco

In the happening neighborhood of Wynwood you'll find Coyo Taco—and lines out the door. Carnitas, fish tacos and even a vegetarian mushroom version are all big hits. Guacamole is freshly smashed when ordered and the tortillas are handcrafted right on site. Coyo's philosophy is "Everything Fresh" and yes, that even applies to their Don Julio margarita.

3 T-Mex

T- Mex opened its doors in 1993, (as San Loco) making them the longest running Tex Mex taqueria in South Beach. T-Mex is known for their famous award winning Guaco Loco served fresh daily and sauce so hot they call it "stupid". Nachos, tacos, burritos, and salads are all prepared homemade style. Even Anthony Bourdain had to pay T-Mex a visit.

4 Huahua's Taqueria

Located on the quiter, west side of Lincoln Road, Huahua’s Taqueria has become a favorite for many. This taqueria from the people behind Haven, is ideal for a tasty and well-presented quick bite. From their breakfast taco (cheesy eggs, carnitas, hash browns, cilantro) to their mouthwatering pollo al pastor taco (charred pineapple, onion, cilantro, crema) you are sure to find a taco that will satisfy your gastronomical needs.

5 Salsa Fiesta

Salsa Fiesta Urban Mex Grill is changing the definition of fast Mexican food. This family-owned restaurant says "no" to low quality ingredients and "yes" to real, fresh food. Salsa Fiesta is a hip spot specializing in gourmet burritos, tacos, classics, tortas, salads, soups and homemade salsas. Their vision? "To drive the fast-casual Mexican restaurant experience to the top tier in quality, service and taste." Sounds like a taqueria to us.
