On December 9, American-themed restaurant Harding’s and Salontea founder Tracy Stern will host an all-inclusive tea party that will kick off weekly Sunday afternoon tea parties.

Limited to just 50 guests, the first tea party will take place from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. on December 9 at Harding’s on 32 East 21st Street between Park and Broadway (in the Flatiron building). Teas at the event will include The Player (fine estate black tea), The Romantic (jasmine green tea), The Fashionable Dandy (bergamot black tea), The Artist (ginger white tea) and The Society Hostess (decaffeinated vanilla black tea).

Following the first event, each Sunday, guests will be privy to a variety of teas from Stern’s tea brand and a menu will be offered, which will be curated by Harding’s executive chef, Ariel Fox, featuring “classic dishes such as: white tea smoked & poached salmon sandwiches, ham & leek tartlette, black tea roasted chicken salad sandwich, and an assortment of scones and buns among other,” according to a press release.

According to Harding’s website, Fox creates elevated yet approachable American food, “enhanced by the classical tradition in which she was trained.” After spending four years opening restaurants with The One Group, Fox became chef de cuisine in the opening of the renowned NoHo restaurant Acme. She subsequently joined Harding’s, where she continues to develop “dishes and cocktails for guests to enjoy as the seasons change.”
