Jilted ‘Bachelorette’ Contestant Arie Luyendyk Jr. Bounces Back at Harold Pump Foundation Gala

He may have been unexpectedly dumped by Emily Maynard on “The Bachelorette” this season, but Arie Luyendyk Jr. seems to have bounced back rather quickly.

The Dutch race car driver/reality star looked calm, collected and cool as he attended the Harold Pump Foundation Gala in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Luyendyk, who is in talks to appear as the next Bachelor, attended the haute sports gala benefitting the Harold and Carole Pump Department of Radiation Oncology, the Carole Pump Women’s Center, and the Thomas and Dorothy Leavey Cancer Center at Northridge Hospital Medical Center on Friday evening.

He was on hand to watch sports greats Joe Namath, Sandy Koufax, and Julius Erving as well as Mike Tuchin and Dr. Mario Molina receive honors at the event.

Guests like Tony LaRussa, Joe Torre, Billy Bob Thornton, Reggie Jackson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Holly Robinson Peete, Barry Bonds, Gale Sayers, Jerome Bettis, Patrick Warburton, Rollie Fingers, Dave Winfield, Don Newcombe, Jalen Rose, Eric Dickerson, Jim Brown, Marshall Faulk, Rodney Peete, Isiah Thomas, Warren Moon, Jamaal Wilkes, Paul Pierce and Anthony Anderson noshed on Parmesan and Panko Encrusted Dijon Chicken with Creamy Basil Risotto, Madeira and mushroom pan sauce and desserts of Passion Pate aux Fruit Coffee Marscapone Profiterole as John Salley officiated the ceremony.
