While BLT Steak’s claim to fame is obviously their red meat selections, the trendy steakhouse has also garnered quite a following for its superior seafood dishes. So, BLT Steak will celebrate October, National Seafood Month, with blackboard specials and complimentary wine pairings.
From October 1 through October 31, diners are offered the seafood prix fixe menu for $60, which includes an appetizer, entrée, side dish and dessert. Diners who order a prix fixe meal receive two complimentary glasses of wine, selected specifically to complement the appetizer and main dish.
Appetizer choices will include triggerfish ceviche served with a soy-citrus sauce, cilantro, mango and jalapeno as well as charred octopus with tomato-harrisa compote. Entrées range from grilled local yellowtail snapper with a smoked eggplant puree to a tomato crusted local wild cobia served with warm fregola sarda, charred tomatoes, artichokes and a lemon aioli.
Chef Sam Gorenstein will create dishes using only the best local, sustainable proteins and produce available at market daily. General manager David Weiss will select wine pairings.
