Let it snow! And, while we’re at it, make it rain like Pacman Jones!

With 14 spacious and luxurious condos for sale, the new Monarch on the Park project in Aspen is one hot ticket for Rocky Mountain relaxation. But now, according to Rich Wager, who is the real estate broker and marketing director for Monarch on the Park, the condominium project has already rung up $93 million in sales, thanks largely to 13 buyers who have put down 25 percent of the sales price of their condos, signed non-refundable earnest money contracts, and committed to close on their properties when the building receives its certificate of occupancy, likely in October.

The project includes a 5,500-square-foot penthouse apartment (for $16 million), several 2,000-square-foot apartments (for roughly $3.5 million), and a few 3,775-square-foot apartments ($7 million) – all of which go for around $2,000 per square foot.

Approved in February 2006, the project was designed by CCY Architects of Basalt, and is located conveniently across the street from the city’s commercial core, which, as we covered in our most recent issue of Haute Living, is an extensive, lavish, and exclusive series of haute shops, clubs, and restaurants.
