On Friday, May 20, Oscar de la Renta personally introduced his Pre-Fall 2011 Collection to Miami’s elite during a glamorous fundraiser at the InterContinental Hotel. The exclusive event benefited the Sur Futuro Foundation, a private non-profit organization that aims to promote the social well being of communities in the southern Dominican Republic region.

I spent a great Memorial Day weekend in St Barts. I flew over with Jon and Lizzie Tisch. We stopped into Barney Greengrass to say hi to Gary and grab some breakfast for the plane. The whole house overlooks Gouverneurs Beach with views from every bedroom. That is the same beach where Roman Abramovich has his compound.

SFMOMA is in the midst of a massive renovation to improve the complex. The preliminary designs are in place to modernize the site and formulate artwork to be visual in public places. The building called the Snøhetta will be fifty feet above the other branches of the museum.
