Marussia, the First Russian Sports Car, Goes on a Sale
A Russian-made chic sports car that rivals Ferrari or Buggati? I hear the doubt. Well, looks like it’s possible. The car industry in Russia is nearly doomed, some might say, or at least in a long-term deep meltdown. But one Russian car maker, Marussia Motors, is trying to change that image by starting to producing two new supercar models — Marussia B1 and Marussia B2, Moscow’s answer to Ferrari. Marussia looks like a classy sleek Italian racing wheel, but 80 percent of it is built in Russia. It’s pretty fast too and can accelerate from 0 to 62 miles an hour in 3.2 seconds.
