New Culinary Director David Burke Serves Upscale Cuisine Lane-side at Strike in Miami

Strike bowling alley, located at the Dolphin Mall, is not your daddy’s bowling alley. It comes equipped with 34 luxury lanes, each with its own video screen, a mega sound system, strategic lighting that creates a glow-in-the dark feel and not to mention a full service bar and restaurant that brings your order lane-side. Now the stylish sports-themed restaurant inside Strike will boast a delicious new addition as distinguished New York City chef/restaurateur David Burke will be heading the kitchen as culinary director.

Burke was originally set to head Bowlmor in New York City’s Time Square, the nation’s oldest alley that also owns Strike, but now he will be cooking up a storm in the temperate South Florida winter with the rest of the snowbirds. With six restaurants spread across four states, Burke is ready for his new venture of serving some of his signature dishes at Strike. Maybe he’ll make the alley cats salivate with his pastrami salmon or potato pancakes, or he might throw in some of his Burke in the Box creations like chicken or beef chili nachos or hanger steak asiago with truffle fries. Either way, he is sure to bowl over guests with his upscale, lane-side cuisine.
