Consider A Weekend Visit To Rosina, The New Cocktail Bar At The Palazzo
Rosina, the new cocktail bar at The Palazzo Las Vegas, defines itself as a cocktail retreat.
The vibe of Rosina justifies the word “retreat.” It is reminiscent of the juxtapositions found in the 2013 film The Great Gatsby. It takes us back to the world of Art Deco that first appeared in Europe in the 1920s and later popularized in the states around the 1930s. (Think Chrysler Building.) The atmosphere can be described as streamlined elegance in the way that only Art Deco can achieve.
Picture a 65-seat cocktail sanctuary accessorized with opulent crystal chandeliers, solid brass, custom-shaped glass, shimmering shades of black, pearl, gold and rich burgundy. High-top tables punctuated with brass-colored rivets and small cocktail tables paired with pearl colored leather chairs found in the lounge area. But, the fun begins with its noticeable musical influences similar to those found in a modern adaptation of new The Great Gatsby film.
Rosina play’s soul, classic R&B, and reggae with hints of sultry jazz and blues. Guests can expect to hear the stylings of timeless artists including Nina Simone, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Lauryn Hill, and Maxwell. Here’s something to win you over: the bar’s most innovative feature is a “Champagne Call Button.” It allows guest to top off their flute with the push of a button.
Rosina seems to be something worthy of a visit over the weekend.
