Although there are a few more weeks left in its current repertory season, the San Francisco Ballet has announced it’s lineup for next year and it’s going to be fantastic. Artistic Director Helgi Tomasson will start things off with a family favorite, the Sleeping Beauty, then move to programs featuring New York City Ballet alums Benjamin Millepied and Justin Peck and ballets created specifically for the San Francisco company. Frankenstein, a celebration of Jerome Robbins and Leonard Bernstein, and the National Ballet of Canada’s Nijinsky will also be performed. The highlight of the season will be Unbound, a festival of new works with 12 world premieres created specifically for SF Ballet.
